Invitation PPI online General Assembly on 22.04.2017

Dear Pirates,
We would like to invite you to the 2017 Pirate Parties International extraordinary online General Assembly which will be held on April 22nd online on the Mumble Server starting at 10:00h CEST. During this conference, the General Assembly - PPI's highest body - will decide upon
  • acceptence of membership
  • submitted motions,
  • urgent amendments.

Everybody is welcome
Each PPI member can register up to six persons as official delegates (PPI Statutes IX.4), but all Pirates and interested persons are very welcome to join as guests.
Delegates: Please follow Rules of Procedure
According to the standing Rules of Procedure [1], all delegates must present written authorization from a member of their respective board unless they are designated International Coordinator or equivalent on their parties' official website. Each person may represent as a delegate no more than 2 parties. (PPI RoP Art.1 §4) We kindly ask the delegates to present such accreditation and a proof of identity in advance, in order to speed up the conference proceeding. The proof of identity should contain the user name that is registered with the mumble server as certain user rights might be given to delegates throughout the online General Section. We urgently suggest that any communication regarding the accreditation of delegates should be digitally (PGP or S/MIME) signed.
We remind each member that according to Statute IX.Voting (5) Any Ordinary Member which has failed to pay its annual affiliation fee up to and including the end of the fiscal year preceding the General Assembly meeting shall forfeit its right to vote at that meeting of the General Assembly, unless remission or postponement of dues has received prior authorization from the Board. http://wiki.pp-international.net/Statutes#XI._Voting.

Motions do not have a deadline and can be sent in at any time and can be found here: Post them according to the instruction on http://wiki.pp-international.net/Online_GA_2015 and send them to board@pp-international.net
Any proposed statutes amendments will be discussed and dealt with at the upcoming General Assembly 2017.

Statutes Amendment Proposals

Statutes amendments will be handled at the next Ordinary GA. They can be submitted the whole year round.(Please see the PPI Statutes).

Delegate accreditation
