Since the GA 2016 the term of office for every board member is two years, with election for half of the board seats each year.
Last board election was held on 07./08. December 2019 at the fully online PPI Conference. Board expanded from 7 to 9 members at the 2019 GA. Giuseppe Calandra elected to an one-year term only following the board expansion.

For Information: according to the statutes each role is to be given to one of the Member of the Board. Since both the general secretary (K. Goldstein) and treasurer (D. Prazeres) were members of the previous board, it's probably they will continue in their positions.

The General Assembly has also elected four alternate board members, who have the task of filling up the vacancies in the board (by the given ranking), should they occur. Cristina Diana Bargu elected to an one-year term only following the board expansion.
