Board
- Bailey: Sorry I can't be here today. GA was very successful despite starting late, so big thank you to everyone for that! I don't have anything new to report at this time however we do have a few things coming up in the near future, such as the Aragon DAO meeting this Sunday, as well as Pirate Summer Camp starting in a few days. Do we still want to do a BarCamp during Pirate Summer and connect with everyone there? It was good last year, would be fun to do it again. I will be writing an invite for the SCENE meeting on August 7th (Campaigning During Covid Part 2). Have a great meeting and a wonderful day/evening/night!
- Attended PPI-GA 2021.1
- All the financial information I have is on the PPI wiki. But I need access to the bank account and the Kraken (Bitcoin, Ethereum) as soon as possible. #Groundhog
- I took care of PPI technology as I do every day:
- PPI etherpad had database issues due to our upgrade. Last week we had a long night session to figure out what the problem is. I hope everything is fixed now.
- All systems are running fine now, necessary updates are done ;-)
- I also renewed our domain at GoDaddy. Actually the plan was to transfer this to another hosting company. But GoDaddy told me that the transfer can take up to a week, which is very unfair and another reason to leave GoDaddy. I will therefore implement this at the end of the year, when a longer shutdown is not so problematic. The invoice was paid via PayPal.

- I have discovered major database problems with the Turkish Pirates website.
- Also, the connection is very slow.
- If it is desired by the Turkish Pirates, the PPI can gladly take over the hosting of the Wordpress Salient-Blog (of course, the colleagues still have full access to the administration).
- We are also happy to issue the missing SSL certificate for the website.
- Update: That was a misunderstanding. The url of the new PP-TR is korsanparti.net
- Mike: Present at the GA. The transfer of the address of PPIHQ will be done at the summer camp with Gregory.

5.1 - Proposals
- Issue: Action from Court of Arbitration regarding very inactive/dead parties
- Submitted by: Tan Siret Akıncı - PPTR
- Justification: As Mike and multiple people in the GA said, there needs to be some action regarding inactive and dead parties that make it difficult for new parties, dividing their votes to half and invades space within PPI while they really don't exist at all or are dead long ago. Some of those parties that I saw to be inactive are the following:
- Pirate Party of Turkey (old)
- Pirate Party of Kazakhstan
- Pirate Party of Bulgaria
- Motions: Court of Arbitration to take action about inactive and dead parties as soon as possible.
- Kazakhstan party we lost party since 2018.
- Issue: Internet Voting comes to mainstream discussion in Turkey
- Submitted by: Tan Siret Akıncı - PPTR
- Justification: I-Voting comes to mainstream discussion in Turkey by People's Republican Party (center-left socdem nationalist party), main opposition party in the parliament. We as Pirate Party Turkey support this fully, but only if its done correctly and safely. I know global pirates and programmers discussed I-Voting many times in the past, but many stuff are changed since then.
- Motions: I would urge you to reignite the I-Voting discussion.
5.2 - Working Groups Update
- Renaming the working groups: I think we could use new acronyms for the working groups to make them more intuitive. Perhaps we don't need to vote on these names, and we can just propose a new name for each group with the next meeting anouncement. I therefore intend to announce the SCURVY group as the DAO working group. I will also rename SCUBA probably then as the UNP working group for UN Pirates, and so on.

5.3 Economic Update
- Crypto account: Our treasurer mentioned that he lacks access to our account. However, it is not possible to transfer the account by name. We need to create a new account and transfer the funds. I recommend that we create a cold wallet and share the keys among 2 board members.
- Wallet needs to be stored on a secure.
- Hot solution, meta mask or other.
- Cold wallet
- We should make it transparent for our users. Have the wallet on ppi infrastructure.
- We should have a financial solution, with an idea of how we want to keep the funds.

5.5 PPI HQ update
- Mike will take care of it with Gregory during the Pirate Summer.
6 AOB - Any other business
- We will discuss about having a Bar Camp during the summer camp. We will publish a Trello, and there will be invitations. These will be copied to the board and pp-leaders.
