Download Mumble

Windows or Mac OS X Download

Linux : Most distributions can be installed on the Mumble package management. on Ubuntu opens it as the Software Center and search for Mumble. There are also versions of Mumble for Android, Maemo, IOS and other systems . An updated list can be found in the Wiki of Mumble natenom.

Alternatively, you can create a portable version that can be packed, for example on a USB stick or in the cloud. This portable version does not, however, due to technical reasons the Mumble-links, which you get automatically by clicking on the link in the link to the right room, and if necessary, automatically Mumble is launched. Do I need anything else besides the software?

Yes, you need a microphone and a speaker. Preferably in the form of a headset, because otherwise you will easily get feedback. Even otherwise, the voice quality is usually much better with a headset.
