4 - REPORTS

4.1 - Short reports of the board members

Board

  • Keith Goldstein: I attended TT5. I finally met Bart, who is awesome in person. We also hung out with Jelena who I hope will decide to become more involved again in PPI activities. I had meetings with the EFA and Greens. We are writing a new blog on Wikipedia that I recently shared with the group. We are considering future TT conferences and other opportunities to collaborate with PPEU. I officially hold office now as PPEU PPI liaison officer for PPEU. We discussed outreach with global pirate parties and ways to better integrate parties and collaboration.
  • Gregory Engels: Nothing to report
  • Bailey Lamon: Nothing to report.
  • Alexander Isavnin: Nothing to report.
  • Sebastian Krone:
Despite the end of the maintenance contract, I have continued to monitor the PPI technology as I do every day.
I requested confirmation of the termination but have not yet received a response.
Despite the General Assembly’s resolution on June 20, no one from the board has contacted me to explain what happens next.
The servers can also simply be shut down immediately if that is what is desired.
I think this is very disrespectful and rude behavior on the part of the chairpersons, who is shamelessly taking advantage of my good nature.
  • Maycow Toledo:
  • Carlos Polo
  • Grigorii Dizer: sent excuses, nothing to report

Alternates:

  • Schoresch Davoodi
wrote 2 article for starke meinung we added a german version of our tubingen speech there for example

  • Stefan Dekkers
not present
  • Thomas Gaul
not present
  • Numero6
Nothing to report
  • Bart Overkamp
We had a very succesful Think Twice, meeting Keith was great fun and hearing more about the history of PPI helped put things in places.
  • Kayra Kuyumcu
not present

5.1 - Proposals

  • Call winter GA either in person or online in January
Bart - i can see if the PP-NL would like to host a physical GA meeting.
  • Convert ETH to BTC to send to our account. Coordinate time to confirm that accounts work. Afterwards set up call for crypto donations.
Bastian - this can be done pretty easily. We have a BTC wallet from PPI-Foundation. everything is working, I am upset that it has not happened already.
BTC wallet: #bc1qn6ma57fua2m7m76rax94d5r37kw6rehjjz72ju the wallet is under control of PPI foundation - if it is to be published on the PPI Website that has to be disclosed to be in accordance with the EU anti-money-laundering regulations.
  • Change email to Migadu or another service.
  • Move website to a low cost server.
We dont just have email and website - we need a plan what services we actually use and need.
Gregory: If our accounts are running low because we lack income from members, we need to optimize our expenses and explore ways to get more income (donations and subsidies)
Alexander: some services could be provided by PP-Russia, since we have moved all of our infrastructure out of Europe into Russia and we can offer to share some of it.
Bastian: we need to ask our memebers if they like to shut down the PPI Organization. Or should they pay their membership fees. It shoud not be tolerated the the sponsors are getting blaimed for providing donations to the organization.
  • Last meeting we lacked confirmed transfers. Please approve that the exchange of ETH to BTC and then BTC to euros or chf for our account.

Please approve publication of the BTC address on our website for future donations.

We discussed it above. The conversion is approved. Its unclear what the todo here in this proposal is.

5.2 - Working Groups Update

Al Davodi: we have published the speach from Tubingen, also on a german Blog https://starke-meinungen.de/2026/10/11/digitalitaet-und-muendigkeit-wenn-selektive-empoerung-das-sagbare-unsagbar-macht/
Bastian: there was no Streaming or recording during TT5. we obnly have some pictures. TT is a brand of PPI and should not be left over for PPEU - there were only 20 people there, and this is sad for such an event with such a good content. The technical equipment was on location, but was not used.
lets discuss TT5 next meeting. when more people are around who went there.

5.3 Economic Update

  • Review payments and budget. It seems expenses have vastly exceeded income and we need to ensure that the board is aware of large payments due and being made. Our accounts has quickly gone towards zero.
  • Bank accounts
726.45 CHF
58.32 EUR
  • PayPal
764.25 EUR

5.4 ECOSOC/UN

  • UNHQ reps. are needed. Who do we know in NY?
  • New reps are needed for all centers. Who do we want to nominate?
New passes are issued in January, we need to prepare the letters to all UN centers.

5.5 PPI HQ update

The office is set up and running. All tax returns have been filed.
The crypto account is working, no income.
BTC wallet: #bc1qn6ma57fua2m7m76rax94d5r37kw6rehjjz72ju
https://ppi.works/
We can issue tax-deductible receipts for donations.
we can open a web shop soon, because "Business Registration" is done.

5.6 Blog Updates

  • Wikipedia blog incoming.

6 AOB - Any other business

  • No other business
