3. OPENING REMARKS

3.1 - Duke apologised for his absence at the previous meeting and notified the Coreteam officially through email.
3.2 - A minute's silence was held in memory of Florian Hufsky (founder and board member of PP-AT).
3.3 - The minutes from the previous meeting were discussed. It was noted that Steffen0 was present.
3.4 - Coretx noted that he had the documents that the bank required and as such the account should be operational shortly.

4. AGENDA

4.1 - Moving the weekly meeting - Proposed by Nicco

It was noted that a vote was held to move the weekly meeting to Monday. The motion was passed unanimously (14/12/09).

4.2 - Position to assign: Social, Media and Grassroots Officer - Proposed by Nicco

Steffen Ortmann (Steffen0) was proposed as SMGO and Coreteam member. Proposal Passed (Yes: 4 | No: 0 | Abstain: 0 )

4.3 - Status of the bank account - Proposed by Nicco

This was discussed in the opening remarks (3.4). The bank account should be operational by the end of the year.

4.4 - ACTA Taskforce Status - Proposed by Nicco

The ACTA Taskforce is having regular meetings, although there is now concern over CETA.[7.1]

4.5 - Hosting our own Etherpad - Proposed by Coretx

It was noted that PPSe has established PiratePad[7.2] which can be used as a replacement for EtherPad once it is taken down. The matter will be discussed further once the PPI Techteam is fully functional again.

4.6 - Shift IRC meetings from *.se to freenode.net - Proposed by ninHer

It was noted that the PirateWeb network is maintained by different Pirate Parties, not just PPSe (PPSe, PPFi and PPDe). PPI and PPs may not be able to depend on Freenode's administrators and may need a service not restricted by its ToS. It was noted that ideally PirateWeb would expand with servers hosted by other PPs, with a PPI link and control. irc.Pirateweb.net is conotrolled by Rick ? (PPSe), although irc.pp-international.net would be useful. Nicco agreed to contact the Pirateweb IRCOps regarding changing the system and the matter will be discussed at the next meeting.

4.7 - Future plans for reclaim-your-rights.{net, com, org, info} - Proposed by pertain

It was noted that these addresses redirect to the ACTA Taskforce page on the wiki. It was decided to leave this matter to the ACTA taskforce and Steffen0.

4.8 - Status of PPI Manifesto - Proposed by ninHer.

It was noted that a "Pirate Constitution" would be preferred by some, or a "Declaration of Principles" similar to the Uppsala declaration, but that would need to be discussed with member PPs. It could be best to state what all PPs currently agree on and work from there, to help prevent the PPs spreading apart. However, no PP should be able to or attempt to enforce policy on any other.

5. FINISHING NOTES

5.1 - It was noted that an @pp-international.net account had been set up for Steffen0.
5.2 - The SMS system for PPI (pirate-sms.net) is currently being worked on.
5.3 - my-pirates.net is under consideration for spreading news.
