4 - REPORTS

4.1 - Short reports of the board members

Board

  • Keith Goldstein: I put up a number of blogs on our website, including a review of my UNOV visit and the upcoming IGF workshop. We are collaborating with other NGOs for our IGF activities.
  • Gregory Engels: nothing to report at the moment
  • Alexander Isavnin:
Nothing to report, participated in WGs, preparing for IGF
  • Sebastian Krone:
I have been monitoring the PPI technique as I do every day (except my day of surgery)
All patches are up to date.
All systems are running smoothly.
And I have done a lot of treasure's work.
We still have some problems with spam control and black listing by PP-DE.
I am currently recovering from a very serious surgery, and I'm fighting my way back into everyday life.
  • Bailey Lamon:
Not much to report. We just had a federal election here and thankfully we did not elect a far-right government! Still not sure if I can make it to the IGF but either way I will be prepared to participate, whether that's online or afk.
  • Maycow Toledo:

Our National party has published a blog on the Israel Palestine conflict written by members with a different view on the matter: https://piratenpartij.nl/zwijgen-kan-niet-meer-israel-pleegt-genocide-en-ingrijpen-is-nodig/

I personally dont agree with some things. But maybe we can publish it on the PPI website.

Idea for a physical meeting in the winter for a GA.
Problem that we have eurocentric meetings, but if we have it elsewhere that it might be difficult.

5.3 Economic Update

Soon there will be a meeting to recover PPI's cryptocurrency (before next board meeting)
Sebastian and Keith will have a meeting soon to discuss setting up all of the accounts.
There will be possibility to collect donation in cryptocurrency

5.4 ECOSOC/UN

5.5 PPI HQ update

The head office is operational. We are currently working on getting recognized as a non-profit association (hard work with the tax office).
We will hold a general assembly to change statutes and approve memberships.

Business: Business registration is on the way to the public order office.

Some items have already arrived and will soon be available for purchase in the store.
