4.1 - Short reports of the board members 1)
Board
- Keith Goldstein:
- We are finally approved at all 3 UN centers. I wrote a few blogs. We are working now hard on the IGF submission and a statement on public administration. I wrote and submitted our Quaddrenial Report. I will try going to UNOV soon.
- Gregory Engels:
- Nothing particular to report, participated in federal elections, collected not enought signatures, got 0,03% at all, worser than previous time
- Bailey Lamon:
- I attended Pirate Beer and plan to attend the meeting after this one. The next Pirate beer will be on the 29th, last Sat. of the month. Time will be updated, but it will probably be suited to Eastern time zones.
- Alexander Isavnin:
- Participate in WG meetings, Pirate Beer. Slightly touches quadrennial report, slightly pushing IGF submissions
- Sebastian Krone:
- I have been monitoring the PPI technique as I do every day.
- All patches are up to date. All systems are running smoothly.
- And a lot of treasure's work.

Venue: United Nations Headquarters in New YorkDates: 7 to 11 April 2025Format: Regular in-person sessionThe Committee of Experts on Public Administration will hold its twenty-fourth session under the overall theme of “Governance and institutional perspectives on advancing sustainable, inclusive, science and evidence-based solutions for the SDGs”.As approved by ECOSOC in its decision 2024/331 of 23 June 2024, there are eight substantive issues on the provisional agenda to be explored from a variety of perspectives, namely:Institutional aspects of the theme of the 2025 session of the Economic and Social Council and the 2025 high-level political forum on sustainable development.Peer exchange with voluntary national review countries and voluntary local review cities on experiences and promising practices in implementing Sustainable Development Goals 16 and 17.Principles of effective governance for delivery of equitable and sustainable development for all.Role of Governments in ensuring transparency and accountability of artificial intelligence systems in public administration.Sustainable public finance.Strategies for changing mindsets in the public sector, retaining talent and attracting younger workers.Leveraging key advances in building strong institutions and governance for climate action, focusing on clean energy transition.Institution-building in post-conflict countries.Registration: All NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC, major groups and other civil society organizations wanting to attend the 24th session are requested to register via Indico no later than 24 March 2025.Proceedings will also be webcast live in the six official UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish) at https://media.un.org/en/webtv.Written inputs: Observers are invited to submit written inputs in advance of the meeting on the substantive issues to be considered by CEPA at the 24th session via email to dpidg@un.org. Deadline for submission is 24 March 2024. Inputs may be published on the CEPA website before the session. Further details are available here.Oral interventions: A limited number of observers may be able to make oral interventions during the session subject to time availability and technical limitations. 5.5 PPI HQ update
- Headquarter is ready to work. We are currently working on being recognized as a non-profit association (hard work with the tax office).
