4 - REPORTS

4.1 - Short reports of the board members 1)

Board

  • Gregory Engels: Gregory had meeting with Bastian to set up Treasurers access to the accounts (in work), needed new tocken for Bailey to resore access. Did some minor administrative tasks. Working for upoming elections campaign.
  • Keith Goldstein: I am in German classes every Tues. at 14:00 UTC, so I won't be able to attend this time slot for the next few months. I am following on the pad. I helped arrange the social media and AI working groups. I visited the PP Berlin office, and I will be going there on a weekly basis (Thursday mornings) as a time to do PPI work on site. Perhaps I can add a PPI flag or something there to name an official PPI desk. In the future I also hope to broadcast working groups and other meetings there, where we can hopefully start a tradition of hybrid meetings there. I will be participating with them at the Environment Festival in Berlin. Mike Gill from PPCZ will be joining me. I also started a project to download all of the PPI minutes and other materials. I am running a topic analysis model on all of the texts. I want to use this to help with our AI project. I also helped Carlos Polo today get a pass for a conference at the UN

-> Bastian will pass over a PPI flag to Keith.

  • Bailey Lamon: Set up a social media working group meeting which is tomorrow. Also trying to do my part to get Bastian access to the bank account. Gregory had done some stuff online and needed me to go into the account and click something to approve Bastian's access. I could not log in and my card was blocked, so I called PostFinance right away and they said they had to send me a new card and login information. I actually recieved the card pretty fast, but for some reason the login info with my new password was sent to Pat's house in Switzerland so he is forwarding that to me. Unfortunately it was necessary for this to happen as the guy I spoke to at PostFinance asked me what kind of card I had, a yellow one or a blue and white one, and I guess because of the kind of card it is and the fact that I am abroad, the only way to fix my issue was a new card. So hopefully I will get that last piece of mail soon and then from what I understand I would just have to login to PostFinance and do whatever I have to do in there, and Bastian should be able to have access. That said, we do need to sign some forms to make it official and update our information with PostFinance.

Gregory: Bailey probably could approve Bastian's acceess just she recieve cards from Postfinance

  • Alexander Isavnin: Preparing for Internet Governance events participation. Plan to have (already urgent) (maybe asyncronious) meeting of SCUBA.
  • Sebastian Krone: (please read out)
I have monitored the PPI technology as I do every day.
All patches are up-to-date. All systems are running smoothly.
On 11/04/2024 at around 3:00 UTC there was a brief outage of web services, which we fixed immediately.
I have asked several times to see the contract for data processing by a processor (Art. 28.3 GDPR) regarding our Discourse hosted by Stefan Thöni, which we use. When will this happen?
So far no access to bank accounts :-(
: Preparatory work for the establishment of a new organization that can take over the office when it is entered in the register.
I am at another event in Berlin today, so can only attend the pad.
Economic update is therefore not available until there is access to the bank account, there are unpaid invoices that have already been dunned.
I have clarified some organizational matters with our representative Pat.
From 07.- 09.06.2024 the Pirate Party Switzerland is organizing a summer camp near Bern.
