Nothing really new to report at the moment.

• Keith Goldstein:

I am in another workshop now, so I cannot speak. I forwarded a number of UN events and had a meeting with Carlos about new applications.

• Bailey Lamon:

Nothing to report at the moment, been a little busy with work and life stuff lately.

I have monitored the PPI technology as I do every day.

All patches are up to date. All systems are running smoothly.

As far as the PPI association is concerned, the notary's office is waiting for the minutes of the inaugural meeting, which can take place online.

This should be completed in September (it takes some time for each founding member to sign the founding minutes by hand.

There is a situation when board members change, we don't know who has access. So we have to create a special environment to secure access.

I have also created the technical requirements for the professional security of our social accounts: SIM card, secure e-mail accounts, secure website. Unfortunately, I still haven't received any data.

On the subject of Discourse: Even if you feel annoyed by my inquiries, you should try to comply with the law.

Of course it is “easy” to set up a new Discourse. If you could please explain to me how to get the currently used database (i.e. without a ransom)? - how about https://ga.pp-international.net/admin/backups ?

5.1 - Proposals

Maycow´s request to annul his removal

Just after we voted last week to remove 3 board members, one of them arrived to indicate that they are present and would like to continue in their role. We can vote to annul our vote for this board member or to contact the CoA about the issue.

To declare the last meetings decision about the absence of Maycow as null and technically reinstate his board memebership, (or as alternative to hand this over to CoA - which is the normal way and does not need voting.)
the decision from August 06th in regard of vacancy of Maycow's board seat is annulled.

Registration of PPI as NPO in Germany

We propose to set up a PPI association in Germany that will serve as the headquarters for PPI activities as an NPO with the following 7 founding members: (Add names)

For the purpose of PPI joining additional UN conventions, we require submitting proof of our registration as an NPO. We have documents from Belgium from 2012. We could apply with these old documents, but our Treasurer has indicated that he prefers that we apply under a new registration in Germany. The Board should vote whether we set up a new NPO in Germany that we will use for further applications. This vote should also include a vote to set up a separate board to oversee the NPO and other matters that our Treasurer outlines. Presuming we reject this motion, we will need to handle registration issues in Belgium.

Bastian - should not be an NPO, as we would like to make some profits to support PPI, like selling T-shirts, etc. We cann't put names in a public document, as we do not have permissions for this disclosure at this moment.

Application to join the following UN conventions: UNCCD (desertification), UNFCCC (climate change), and UNBCD (biodiversity).

Our members have expressed interest in participating in these confedrences. Each convention has a special participation invitation for ECOSOC NGOS, but we need to sign up separately from ECOSOC.

I also chime in that our application is held up. I can use our Belgian papers to apply, but it seems that we are trying to register as a German NPO for future applications. This should be a main issue for our next board meeting.
